Meet Crystal River

Ask Crystal River why they sing Southern Gospel music and here’s what they’ll tell you:

“Well, the main reason we sing is because we’ve each had the real experience of being born again!  For us, Southern Gospel music, more than most any other style, inspires and encourages us in our relationship with God.  The message is simple and straightforward:  God loves us… He will forgive our sins… salvation is through Christ alone… peace, joy and eternal life are the free gifts He offers to those who put their trust in Him.  That’s the message that changed each of our lives, and we continue to see it change lives today!”

Heather Cofield

Heather does a great job singing the alto part, while trying to keep the two old guys in line.  Hailing from Alexandria, AL, she attends Hill Crest Baptist Church where she is an active member of the choir.  Some of Heather’s favorite pastimes include cooking, drawing and photography.  Crystal River is truly blessed to have such a faithful young lady as part of their ministry.

Mike Stinson

Mike handles the lead.  Not falling far from the tree, he comes from a musical family, with his parents having sung gospel music.  He and his wife, Lynette, have been married for over 40 years and make their home in Eastaboga, AL and attend Lakeview Baptist Church.  In his spare time, Mike enjoys doing chores on his tractor and occasionally beating Keith at golf.

Keith Williams

Keith sings baritone for the group.  He also takes care of the sound equipment and acts as the contact.  His wife, Christie (bless her heart), has been patient enough to put up with him for over 40 years now.  They live in Oxford and are members of Lakeview Baptist Church.  Keith’s hobbies include reading and watching old-time classic movies (boring!).
